Diamond Jubilee festival!

It has been a hectic few of months, what with work, uni, opening a vintage unit, settling in to our new home and looking after a husband!

Piling more on to my plate isn't going to make that much of a difference... is it?
Anyway, it's an opportunity not to be missed!

On Sunday 3rd June 2012, over one thousand boats will muster on the River Thames in preparation for Her Majesty The Queen to take part in the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant

The Diamond Jubilee Festival, Battersea Park, which will celebrate design, music, art, film, fashion and food from the past 60 years and provide an ideal vantage point to watch the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant

Drum roll please...

Den of Vintiquity Emporium online!

So, seeing as I feel we've been quite successful in our first month and a half in our unit in Leigh, I've decided to have an online presence!

Although I used a free template website to get some products online, I'm looking around for reasonable, professional and imaginative web designers for the future.

The products we sell in shop are carefully sought items we think other people would love in their homes. Online we are putting the more specialist, curio items up.

All items are researched and I'll check several websites for the same/similar items and I strive to NEVER charge more than what others are asking for and if possible cheaper than others!

Den of Vintiquity only sells items that we (my parents and I) would be happy to have in our home. We love some items so much it can be had selling them!

We are selling in the shop and online:

  • vintage decorative items
  • vintiques
  • vintage science items
  • kitchenalia
  • rare and out of print books
  • handmade
  • upcycled
  • craft
  • retro
  • kitsch
  • paintings and prints
  • vintage home-ware

If you haven't already, check out what we have for sale! From bargain to high-end, there's something for every budget.

Here are few pictures of some stuff we've sold, got and will put up soon!

These have been taken from our shop and online boutique so may not still be available.

If you ever see me tweet/blog/post a picture of an item you like, let me know: I want to make purchasing our items as easy and cheap as possible for you, so if we can avoid postage or some-such extra charge, we can work it out!
